Clique Girlz History


The Clique Girlz
Still at the age of 9 Ariel and her two friends from their home town, Paris and Destinee Monroe, formed the music group called Clique. Working together for a few years to perfect their craft and their bond, the girlz began cutting demos with NJ based producer Mr. Mig and LA based songwriter/producer Eddie Galan. At the ages of 10, 11 & 12, the Girlz were signed to Interscope Records by Jimmy Iovine, working directly with Interscope executives Vincent Herbert and Jolene Cherry as well. The girlz later changed their name to the "Clique Girlz."
Performances
As a member of the Clique Girlz, Ariel performed at such major events such as the Jets NFL game at the Meadowlands, before 70,000 fans, traveled to Tokyo, Japan and performed the National Anthem at the opening game of Major League Baseball at the Tokyo Dome for 50,000 fans. She also performed at NASCAR, NBA, MLB, and US Open tennis events and performed and opened for such artist’s as the Jonas Brothers, John Legend, Lady GaGa, Backstreet Boys, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Michael McDonald, Rihanna, Lionel Richie, Erykah Badu, Maroon 5, Lee Ann Womac, Luis Fonsi & David Bisbal, Duffy, Keyshia Cole, Jamie Cullum, Robin Thicke, The Click Five, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kirk Franklin, Demi Lovato, and Drake Bell. In the fall of 2008 Ariel and The Clique Girlz did a 52 city nation-wide tour with the Cheetah Girls.
